More About Lighthouse Club Manila
Lighthouse Club Manila is a non-government organization whose members are associated with the construction industry.
Eddie Ward founded the original club (Lighthouse UK) on 1956 after a construction exhibition there. Since then, it has grown worldwide.
The Manila Branch was founded in 1997 by a number of Lighthouse Club stalwarts, whom formerly worked in Hong Kong.
The Lighthouse Club is known all over the world as the construction industry charity. Its chosen motto, Allis Cum Humanitate is a Latin phrase which stands for “consideration for others”.
The Manila Branch is no different in this respect as it is involved with numerous charity causes now and even in the past.
The principal aim has been to foster good fellowship, camaraderie and cooperation amongst members. A lot of events have been or are being organized in line with this goal. During these events, members have a chance to develop their business and personal relationship towards their co-members while having fun.
Also, these social events provide like-minded individuals, from a common industry, the opportunity to meet and share experiences in a forum remote from the more usual working environment. The club’s ever growing family is a fountain of information and connection.
These events are not only limited to enjoyment but are aimed at accumulating funds to finance the Club’s numerous projects as well.
Our business is to build. We, at Lighthouse Manila, aspires to build the industry into one - building better lives for a better society.
