Chairman’s Message:
Well, after a busy and highly successful 2009, I would firstly just like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Trustees for their outstanding effort and support, to make the LHC Manila Branch a continuing story of success.
The year 2009 saw LHC Manila raise an historically high amount of funds, enabling us to commit to send at least 10 students through the Erda Tech College, over the next 3 years.
I believe you will agree that this year, LHC strived to add more variety and interest to its members through some outstanding social events, including the indoor golf evening, the East Asian Gallery evening and the joint party at the Manila Club with the BCC and BWA.
Another spectacular highlight of the year was the “Havana Nights Dance”, our annual dance is fast becoming one of the key highlights of the social calendar for the year.
As ever, we welcome input from members, regarding any suggestions to make LHC Manila events, even more appealing.
This year, with a re-enforced board of Trustees, I am expecting that LHC will be focusing on increasing the formula for success, with additional emphasis on our charity works, and with a continued focus on increasing membership through more interesting and varied social activities.
It just remains for mean to wish you, our members, new members to be, a Happy and Prosperous 2010, and looking forward to your continuing valued support.
