Lighthouse Club (LHC) Manila Branch is a non-government organisation whose members are primarily associated with the construction industry although membership is open to all sectors of industry. Lighthouse Club Manila was founded in 1997 by a number of Lighthouse Club stalwarts who had formerly been working in Hong Kong. Although a relatively small branch of the worldwide network, LHC Manila has been successfully involved with numerous, and some quite remarkable, charitable causes.
The principal aim has been to foster good fellowship, camaraderie and cooperation amongst members, and to be considerate to the less fortunate in Manila and the wider Philippines. To raise funds for its charitable objectives LHC Manila organises monthly events and a prestigious annual Charity Ball in the autumn. During these events members meet to relax, network, develop their business and personal relationships while having fun and raising money for charitable projects.
